75 Years Times Two!

To celebrate their seventy-fifth anniversaries, York Little Theatre and the York Symphony Orchestra are joining artistic forces to present one of Broadway's most beloved musicals, Follies. The Stephen Sondheim classic will be staged as a concert on March 8, 2008 at the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on the Penn State York camp

Chronister Named YSO COO

Deborah Markle Chronister accepted the new position of Chief Operating Officer of the York Symphony Orchestra.  Upon accepting the offer, Ms. Chronister exclaimed: "I'm so happy for this opportunity to re-engage with our community, and extremely proud to do so as a part of an organization contributing to and bringing our community together in such a beautiful way." Many of us remember Deb for her loyal involvement and leadership of AccessYork for more than 25 years.  The York Symphony Orchestra welcomes Deb and looks forward to a seamless transition as she becomes the new executive responsible for management of the YSO. 

Nixon Takes on New YSO Role

NIXON TAKES ON NEW ROLE AT YSO Henry Nixon, Executive Director of the YSO, will fill a newly created position effective June 9, 2008 as Development Officer.
